In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a warehouse burned down in the village of Krasnogvardeyskoye. TASS reported this in connection with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, August 31.
“Today at 06:11, the Crisis Management Center received a message about smoke on the territory of a warehouse in the urban-type settlement of Krasnogvardeyskoye on Dorozhnaya Street. By the time the first fire brigade arrived, a building somewhere of 800 square meters are burning in an open fire,” the message said.
Firefighters are said to have brought the fire under control. There is no threat of fire spreading. No one was killed or injured.
17 people were involved in extinguishing, 6 pieces of equipment were involved. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Meanwhile, local residents are writing on social networks that the Megastroy warehouse and the Dobrotsen store, located on Dorozhnaya Street, are burning in Krasnogvardeisky. Photos and video from the scene have also been released.
The day before, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will appeal to the inhabitants of Crimea with a request not to approach the Russian military facilities on the peninsula and pass information about the enemies to the special services of Ukrainian.
