Residents of Finland, Britain, the Netherlands, Canada and other countries have decided to support the country’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin, who has been criticized for her behavior after several videos from a private party with her participation were leaked.
On the recordings, the head of the Finnish government dances with friends, sings and drinks alcohol. In response to criticism, women around the world began posting videos of themselves singing, dancing and fooling around at parties under the hashtag #SolidaritywithSanna.
“We all need to dance more”, “Dancing heals. Keep dancing”, “Go girls. Let’s make this trend international, ”the women sign their videos like that.
Politicians from Austria and Germany also took part in the flash mob in support of Marin, and not only women.
Another video from Sanna Marin’s party has surfaced. Here’s mine, until no one drains. Wilma and I only had beer and schnapps, Bundestag deputy Stefan Seidler signed the video.
Video from the party with the participation of Sanna Marin began to be published on the evening of August 17th. On one of them, the Prime Minister danced at home with friends, on the other – in a nightclub in Helsinki.
After the video was posted, Marin was criticized, in particular, for the fact that during the party she would not be able to make a responsible decision. Also, on one of the recordings, they heard jauhojengi, which can be slang for cocaine use. There is no evidence that any of the participants in the party used drugs. However, the opposition demanded that Marin pass a drug test.
The Finnish prime minister agreed to take the test and promised to make the results public to dispel doubts. She stated that she had never used drugs and said that she was upset that the video from her private party was made public.
I danced, I sang, I had fun – I did completely legal things, – Marin said after posting a video from the party.
She noted that she did not consider it necessary to change her behavior.
I want to show that these positions are filled by ordinary people with ordinary lives. I have a family life, I have a job and I have free time that I spend with friends. Just like many people my age,” she said.
