He said he found estimates that the total amount of aid given to Ukraine and its citizens, including donations from ordinary Poles, exceeded 10 billion zlotys.

At the same time, the largest part of this amount is the cost of donated weapons – about 7 billion zlotys.

“This is important not only as solidarity with our eastern neighbor, but as a strategic contribution to the security of Poland. Every Russian tank destroyed in Ukraine is potentially reduced by one tank, which may later be in Russian-Polish or Belarusian -Polish. border” , – said Michal Dvorczyk.

As you know, Poland handed Ukraine at least 200 T-72 tanks. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also received Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks, but their exact number was not called.
