The Verkhovna Rada has replenished with a new people’s deputy.
Valentin Korolenko from the Servant of the People party to parliament. She took the place of her fellow party member Artem Mikhailyuk, who renounced his deputy powers. This was reported on August 20 by the press service of the Central Election Commission.
It is noted that Mikhailyuk entered the Rada on August 8 after the new Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin and judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Olga Sovgirya resigned. The next candidate on the party list of “servants” is Dmitry Yermolenko, who also renounced his mandate. Therefore, a place in the Verkhovna Rada was given to Valentina Korolenko, who occupied 145th place in the party’s electoral list.
As you know, Korolenko is a native of Krivoy Rog and has two higher educations in the specialties “Jurisprudence” and “Finance and Credit”. Previously, the woman worked in various positions in the Krivoy Rog and Dnipropetrovsk customs.
Recall, on July 27, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Olga Sovgirya, a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People, as a new judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. 293 parliamentarians voted for it. And 299 deputies agreed on the appointment of the “servant” Andrey Kostin as head of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
