British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told US President Joe Biden about the results of his trip to Kyiv on Saturday. Johnson wrote it to her Twitter.
“I just talked to the President of the United States and said goodbye to him at my meeting with President Zelensky in Kyiv this weekend,” Johnson wrote.
According to him, the attention of the two countries remains focused on supporting President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people in the fight for independence.
“Putin’s barbaric work cannot be allowed to succeed,” Johnson said.
The parties also agreed to increase economic pressure on Russia. One of Johnson and Biden’s main tasks outlined the end of the West’s reliance on Russia’s energy. In addition, they decided to increase military and economic assistance to Ukraine.
It will be recalled that last Saturday British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kyiv and promised to provide Ukraine with 120 armored vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems.
