The invaders planned a large-scale provocation in Melitopol.

The Russians planned a large-scale provocation in Melitopol to blame the armed forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers give postcards to local residents with the rules of conduct during shelling from HIMARS rocket systems. This may indicate that the invaders are preparing provocations in the city, followed by blaming the Ukrainian military for this. This was announced on August 17 by the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Stratcom noted that Gauleiter Yevgeny Balitsky ordered the local residents to hand out these leaflets. Such a warning is usually superficial proof of the insidious intentions of the Russians. It is possible that the enemy wants to commit a bloody provocation.

Against the backdrop of complete failures on all “fronts”, endemic “smoking in unidentified places”, mass desertion in the RF SR, betrayal of commanders and superiors, the occupier wants to divert attention by committing a bloody provocation and accusing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the military say.

That is why Ukrainian defenders warn citizens not to trust Russian propaganda, because the Armed Forces of Ukraine have never and never fire at civilians.

Recall that on August 17, in the center of the occupied Melitopol, an explosion thundered at the commandant’s office of the Russian occupiers. Details of the explosion are not available at this time.
