Norway will help Ukraine not only by providing a new aid package, but also by training the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine will receive new military aid from the United States and Norway. About that reported Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov following the results of his talks with the Ministers of Defense of the United States and Norway, Lloyd Austin and Bjorn Aril Gram.
“We discussed the current security situation, new needs on the battlefield and ways to strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian army. More help from the United States will come soon,” said the head of the Defense Ministry.
According to him, Norway will help Ukraine not only by providing a new aid package, but also by training the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We are grateful to the Norwegian government for the decision to provide a new package of military aid and training of soldiers,” Reznikov stressed.
It will be recalled that Austin and Reznikov discussed further aid to Ukraine in the war with the Russian Federation.
It was also reported that the US Department of Defense demonstrated the process of loading ammunition for Ukraine into a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
