The Russian army lost 30% of the elite corps in Ukraine, including marines and special forces, while officers and sergeants.
Russian troops lost a third of the combat potential, which was used for the attack. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with the Voice of America.
According to him, 30% of the elite corps were lost, including marines and special forces, while officers and sergeants.
“The number of aircraft, helicopters that shot down the Ukrainian forces means that they lost up to 1,000 pilots of various levels, both aircraft and helicopters,” the minister said.
Reznikov emphasized that this means the loss of an elite who can fly with maneuvers. And now the Russian Federation will need some restoration.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also noted that today the situation on the battlefield is difficult, but under control. The Russians are making daily offensive attempts in various places, but they are not making much progress.
At the same time, Reznikov emphasized that Ukraine demanded complete de-occupation and access to the borders in 1991.
“The final story is the victory of Ukraine, the restoration of 1991. This is the main plan,” he stressed.
Reznikov also does not believe that the war can be frozen, but does not neglect the decrease in activity depending on the weather.
It should be remembered that, according to the latest data of the General Staff, the Russian Federation has lost more than 44,000 soldiers in Ukraine.
