Polish Prime Minister accuses Germany and France of “oligarchy”

Many European leaders have allowed Russian President Vladimir Putin to “seduce themselves,” Morawiecki said.

Germany and France run the European Union in “oligarchy” style. This was discussed in an article by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki for the French newspaper Le Monde, published on Tuesday, August 16.

According to the politician, the aforementioned states “ignore voices such as Poland, which have long warned about Russian expansion (expansion of state borders by conquest – ed.).”

“The return of Russian imperialism should not be a surprise to us … Europe is in its current position not because it is not sufficiently united, but because it refuses to hear the truth,” Morawiecki wrote.

He emphasized that many European leaders had allowed Russian President Vladimir Putin to “tempt themselves” and were now “surprised.”

Remember that Poland is developing a mechanism for refusing to issue visas to Russians. At the same time, countries such as Germany, France and the Netherlands oppose the introduction of similar sanctions at the EU level.
