The French government has expressed its readiness to assist Ukraine in demining the territory of the Chernihiv region, promising to attract its specialists and equipment for this. This was announced by the head of Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus.
“The French government is ready to help, both in direct demining with the participation of its specialists and equipment, and to help train specialists in Ukraine, including for demining water bodies,” said report.
It was also reported that the possibility of help from the French government was discussed not only in the process of mine clearance in the occupied territories, but also the creation of DNA laboratories to identify the killed and dead people.
The State Emergency Service has already neutralized more than 180 thousand explosive objects. Chernihiv region is in third place in terms of the volume of work of pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service.
