The attackers are conducting a massive offensive from the side of the Lisichansk oil refinery. This was announced by the head of Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai.
According to him, the military of the Russian Federation uses every opportunity to create favorable conditions for an additional offensive in some areas.
“They are attacking in different directions to force the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the fortifications. Yesterday, our soldiers forced them to retreat six times. Fighting continues in three more areas on the border of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In particular, in the area of the Lisichansk Oil Refinery,” Gaidai said.
He also mentioned that the enemy is shelling Ukrainian settlements and military positions from artillery.
“Four tank attacks and four air attacks were carried out during the night alone,” the UVA chief insisted.
Earlier, Gaidai said eight enemy attacks were successfully repelled in the Luhansk region, and the military also neutralized a Russian reconnaissance group.
Recall that the head of Lugansk OVA spoke about the consequences of a strike on the Wagner PMC base. According to him, more than 100 “Wagnerites” from the leadership may have been killed because of this.
