Rescuers liquidated a large-scale forest fire that broke out on Mount Savchyn in the Transcarpathian region. The press center of the State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.
“At 16:25 on August 13, the forest fire on Mount Savchin between the settlements of Begendyatskaya Pastil and Kosteva Pastil was extinguished,” it said.
234 people and 20 pieces of equipment were involved in the killing, of which 102 people and 16 pieces of equipment were from the State Emergency Service, as well as aviation.
Earlier it was reported that in the Transcarpathian region, for the third day in a row, a large forest fire was extinguished, airplanes and helicopters were operating.
