Despite the difficult shelling situation, it is possible to restore power supply to four communities.

Over the past 24 hours, DTEK’s emergency teams have restored electricity to 5,000 families in 8 settlements of the Donetsk region, the company’s press service reported on Saturday, August 13.

“The lion’s share of the restoration is in the Bakhmut community, which is under constant shelling. About 4,000 more households have recovered here,” the report said.

Also, electrical engineers were able to carry out many repairs in the communities of Avdiivka, Kramatorsk and Toretsk.

About 95 settlements of the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult directions are Slavyanskoye, Avdeevskoye, Maryinskoye, Toretskoye and Bakhmutskoye.

The arrangement is carried out only with the agreement of the military.

Meanwhile, DTEK, as part of preparations for the heating season, continues to repair some power units of its TPPs. Work on 12 power units has been completed.
