The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a summary of the military invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine on the morning of August 11.
The General Staff reported that the enemy is concentrating efforts on establishing full control over the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, holding the temporarily captured areas of Kherson and parts of Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Mykolaiv regions, creating favorable conditions for continuing the offensive in certain directions and blocking sea routes.
In the direction of Seversk, the invaders fired at the civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of settlements of Logi, Chernihiv region, as well as Vorozhba, Mezenovka, Grabovskoye and Slavgorod, Sumy region.
In the direction of Kharkov, the enemy is occupying territories near Udov, Petrovka, Protopopovka, Korobochkino and Shevelovka.
In the Slavic direction, the areas of Karnaukhovka, Vernopolye, Bogorodichny, Mazanovka and others were fired upon.
In the direction of Kramatorsk, Russian troops deployed rocket artillery and tanks near Seversk, Verkhnekamensky, Serebryanka and Grigorievka. They attacked near Grigorovka and Verkhnekamensky, they did not succeed and retreated. Fighting continues in the Ivano-Daryevka area.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy opened fire on Ukrainian troops from tanks and artillery near Bakhmut, Konstantinovka, Pereezdnoye, Veseloye, Bakhmutsky, Vesela Dolina, Yakovlevka, Vershina and Zaitsevo. Air strikes were carried out near Vyemka, Disputed, Soledar, Bakhmut and Zaitsevo. The invaders conducted a reconnaissance in battle near Yakovlevka, but were driven back by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy unsuccessfully carried out offensive actions and attacks near Bakhmutsky and Zaitsev and retreated with defeat.
In the direction of Avdiivka, the enemy carried out shelling near Marinka, Vodyanoye, Netailovoe, Avdiivka, Peski, Opytny and Krasnogorovka. An airstrike was launched near Avdiivka. Conducts offensive operations at the direction of Maryinka and Peskov.
In the directions of Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye, shelling from cannon and rocket artillery, tanks were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Malaya Tokmachka, Malinovka, Lukyanovskoye, Vugledar, Novodanilovka, Vremovka, Belogorye, Burlatskoe and Kushugum The invaders deployed aviation near Novomikhailovka, Prechistovka and Zolotaya Niva. The Armed Forces of Ukraine prevented enemy attempts to advance near Pavlovka.
In the direction of South Buzh, the invaders are concentrating their main efforts on holding their positions and preventing the advance of our troops. The enemy carried out shelling of civilians and military infrastructure in the areas of settlements of Nikolaev, Ukrainka, Pribuzhskoye, Limany, Stepnaya Dolina, Blagodatnoye, Veseliy Kut, Kobzartsy, Belaya Krinitsa, Tverdomedovo and Osokorovka. He hit from aviation not far from Andreevka, Novogrigorovka, Belaya Krinitsa, Mirny, Bolshoi Artakovo and Lozovoye.
