On Thursday, Nobel Peace Prize winner Dmitry Muratov, Russia’s leading independent newspaper, was captured in red during a train attack on a train in Moscow. Reported on the Novaya Gazeta website.
Muratov said his eyes were on fire after an unknown man threw acetone oil paint on a carriage at Kazansky train station.
Muratov said: “Muratov, we are here with you for our children,” shouted the striker.
Photos published by the newspaper show Muratov’s head, shirt and hands covered in red paint. The second photo shows blood -like red spots appearing on a table, windows, and pillows in a wagon.

Novaya Gazeta said the Union Z paratroopers telegraph channel claimed responsibility for the attack on a post that has since been deleted. According to the English translation of the post, the group has promised to deal with supporters who falsely say there is a lie in Bucha, a brutality in Ukraine.
State-backed media in Russia tried to discredit some of Bucha’s photos and videos showing the killing of civilians. Russia says the Ukrainians carried out the massacre outside Kiev.
Meanwhile, Russia is stepping up its attack on eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian officials said on Friday that Russia was responsible for the missile attack on a train station used in Kramatorsk, east of Donetsk, to evacuate civilians. Authorities said more than 30 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
Last week, Novaya Gazeta announced that it was forced to stop publishing until the end of the war in Ukraine after receiving a second warning from Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor.
On Thursday, journalists from Novaya Gazeta launched a new adventure called Novaya Gazeta Europe, which is not officially affiliated with the Russian edition. According to Reuters.
Muratov announced in March that he intended to auction off his Nobel medal in support of Ukrainian refugees. In December, he told the BBC he was offering the tribute to journalists killed in the service.
“Our journalists who died for their profession, this is their reward and I am very happy”
