The ministry recalled that diplomatic passports are issued to people’s representatives only for official business trips, upon return of which they must be deposited at the Foreign Ministry within ten days.
The ministry emphasized that under no circumstances can diplomatic passports be used for private travel.
“The Ministry will immediately issue diplomatic passports to representatives who will serve on official business trips from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” the Foreign Ministry added.
Recall that MP Petro Poroshenko left Ukraine for Poland on May 30, where he was twice denied permission to cross the border before leaving. After that, he returned to Ukraine late – instead of June 2, he arrived on June 8.
