The restoration work is the most difficult in the settlements of Bakhmut and Toretsk, which are constantly being destroyed.
Over the past 24 hours, DTEK’s emergency brigades have restored electricity to 14,000 families in 12 settlements in the Donetsk region that lost power due to shelling by the occupiers, according to the company’s website on Saturday, August 6.
Restoration work was carried out in Pokrovsky, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk regions.
Thus, with the permission of the military in the community of Bakhmut, it was possible to restore the electricity supply to 6.5 thousand families.
“This is one of the main areas of enemy attack in the Donetsk region, which is under constant shelling,” the company said.
In the community of Toretsk, which is also under constant shelling, electrical engineers repaired networks for more than 7,000 families.
Specialists of the energy company worked in the communities of Avdiyivka, Selidovskaya and Konstantinovskaya.
In addition, on the eve of the attacks, the Krivorozhsky and Nikopolsky districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region again underwent shelling. Almost 4,000 households were left without electricity. Overnight, power engineers resumed power supplies for more than 3,000 families.
It should be noted that in July, DTEK emergency teams restored electricity to 478,000 families in three regions of Ukraine.
