Upon expiration of the deposit period, the funds in the deposit currency in full, including interest, are available for use.
The state-owned Ukreximbank began selling non-cash money to private clients with subsequent placement on deposit for three months or more without the right of early termination. The sale is carried out in accordance with the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine, the bank’s press service reported the previous day.

It is indicated that the rates and other conditions for placing funds in a deposit account in case of non-cash purchase of foreign currency are standard for foreign currency deposits of the bank for a period of three months (from at 0.05% per year).
Upon expiration of the deposit period, the funds in the deposit currency in full, including interest, are available for use. If necessary, they can be obtained at the bank’s cash desks in cash (equivalent to 100,000 hryvnias per day).
Recall that after the start of the war, the NBU banned banks from selling non-cash money to the population. However, from July 21, the regulator relaxed restrictions and allowed Ukrainians to buy money for 50,000 hryvnias, subject to its further investment in a deposit for three months or more without the possibility of early termination.
Some banks already offer this service to their customers, but most financial institutions are still working on the introduction. In particular, the state-owned PrivatBank and Oschadbank still do not sell non-cash money to the population.
