The massive missile strike and the spread of fakes is an attempt to destroy the spirit of the people of Nikolaev, Natalya Gumenyuk believes.

The reason for the massive shelling of Nikolaev is that the Russian Federation is trying to gather forces for a counter-offensive. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Operational Command (OK) South, Natalia Gumenyuk, on the air of the national telethon on Thursday, August 4.

He noted that the Russian invaders were drawing up reserves, hoping to create their own counter-offensive. At the same time, they are spreading fakes that they will “take Nikolaev” as soon as possible.

According to him, such actions of the Russian invaders were an attempt to destroy the spirit of the inhabitants of the city, because “Nikolaev is a fortress.”

Let’s remind, on August, 4th, at dawn in Nikolaev, explosions were distributed.

Moreover, the head of Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim said that forced evacuation is not yet planned in the region.
