The Armenian Foreign Ministry, in turn, said that they consider Baku’s attempts to change the legal regime of the Lachin corridor unacceptable.
“The route of the Lachin corridor can only be changed in accordance with the plan approved by the signatories of the trilateral statement,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement released by the press service on Wednesday.
At the same time, no such plan has been approved in a trilateral format.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry claimed that Azerbaijani troops “carried out an attack on the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.”
They also added that two servicemen of the unrecognized republic were killed, 14 were injured as a result of firing by the armed forces of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the media report that the equipment of the Iranian army is being brought closer to the border of Azerbaijan against the backdrop of the growing tension in Nagorno-Karabakh.
