Hungarian statements are not always a problem for Ukraine, according to Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine will only consider Hungary a problem when the Hungarian government’s statements against Kyiv coincide with its decisions. He said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“I think Hungary is a ‘fifth column’ of its own. This is their internal policy, and the Hungarian people need to know how it meets their interests,” said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

According to the minister, Hungary’s statements are not always a problem for Ukraine: for example, Budapest joined the sanctions against Russia, supported giving Ukraine the status of an EU candidate, even though there are cases already Hungary blocked some sanctions against the Russian Federation that attacked. Ukraine.

“As long as Hungary’s statements do not coincide with its decisions about Ukraine, you can live and work. If what they say starts to coincide with what they do, there will be a problem,” added the minister.

Recall that Kuleba expressed the difficulties in creating a tribunal for the Russian Federation.
