Ukraine considers the forced evacuation of Donetsk started due to the constant bombing by Russia

Other transport is expected to take citizens to Lviv and other cities in the west of the country, where they have been provided with living conditions before the Russian siege.

The Ukrainian government announced over the weekend a decision to begin a mandatory evacuation of residents of Donetsk, due to the fact that in recent days they have been attacked by soldiers from the zone of armed conflict.

In a speech broadcast last Saturday evening on the president’s Telegram channel, President Volodymyr Zelensky urged citizens to decide to evacuate Donetsk and assured them that he would have both logistical and economic support.

US to send more aid to Ukraine

The United States is authorizing a new $550 million military aid package for Ukraine in artillery ammunition, said John Kirby, communications coordinator for the White House National Security Council.

Kirby noted that National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley spoke with their Ukrainian interlocutors to express US support for your country.

In this regard, they were told that the new package would include “more munitions” for high-mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS), which are long-range and are used in eastern Ukraine, and for other types of weapons.

Ukraine confirms the dispatch of the first grain carrier

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced the departure of the first ship with a cargo of 26,000 tons of grain from the Odessa trade port on the Black Sea, the Ukrainian portal Ukrinform reports.

According to this media, citing ministerial sources, the Razoni cargo ship sails under the flag of Sierra Leone and is heading to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon with tons of Ukrainian corn.

Earlier, a Turkish government spokesman announced the expected departure of the first batch this morning after a separate agreement was reached between Russia and Ukraine on the release of Ukrainian grain at the end of July.

Turkey acts as the verifier of this agreement, in which this country acted as a guarantor together with the United Nations, and also manages the control center established to monitor the operations.
