According to the American leader, the United States is ready to increase pressure in the Russian Federation, but if European countries have stopped buying Russian oil.
Starmer noted that “some European countries are too dependent on Russian energy sources.” There is no universal solution for this. Therefore, according to him, it is important to “put Ukraine as a stronger position.”

Trump recalled that he had introduced tariffs for India to force him to stop buying Russia’s oil.
“I’m ready to take other steps, but not when the ones I fight are buying oil in Russia. If the oil price falls, it is very simple -Russia will agree to regulate,” the US leader emphasized.
We reminded, Trump had previously said he was willing to take a serious penalty against Russia if all NATO countries were in agreement with the same steps, as well as refusing Russian oil.
