The General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published components of the Russian Gran-3 UAV-3 UAVs, equipped with a turbuaure engine.
The Guren-3 BPC is an analogue of the Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle of the ShaaHD-238, the component of which was already published in June 2024, in a message published today, September 16, September 16, on the Guri on Facebook page.
Today the GUR has attracted a 3D model, components and the base of foreign components of the so-called “Russian localized version”:
- The Grani-3 “B” series uses the Chinese Tilefly JT80 turbocharger engine, which allows the drone to move at a speed of 300 to 370 km/h. Approximate operational range – up to 1000 km;
- The maximum speed of up to 370 km/h “Geranium-3” was obtained mainly in areas of Ukrainian air defense and move, in the areas of use of UAVs and at the terminal stages of flight, simultaneously reducing the target;
- The location of the modules and electronic blocks basically does not differ from the gasoline versions of the Geranium-2 of the series, in particular, it includes the standard system of inertial navigation Sadra, unit of air pressure (ADC), unit of power distribution (PDU), etc.;
- To ensure satellite navigation from HRB to “Gerani-3”, a barrier satellite navigation system with an antenna grate (CRPA) for 12 elements, “Comrade-M12” is used;
- A total of 45 identified foreign components – half of American manufacturers, eight of Chinese, seven Swiss, three German, two British and one from the Japanese manufacturer;
- According to the available data, the reactive “Gerani-3” also installed the camera and the video transmission system from the “Geranium-2” unmanned aerial vehicle.
The full list of the components of this drone is published in the section “Components in the weapons” of the Gursky War and sanctions, available at: https://war-sanctions.gur.gov.ua/page-heran-3
