Such cases are a new challenge to regional security and stability in the Black Sea region, Bucharest said.
The Russian Drone invasion of Romania’s airspace during the attack on Ukraine on September 13 creates a new Black Sea safety challenge. The Bucharest condemned the actions of Moscow. This is stated in a statement by the Romanian Ministry of Defense, written by the Guardian on Sunday, September 14th.
It is noted that Romania has “strongly condemned un responsible actions of the Russian Federation and emphasizes that they represent a new challenge to regional security and stability in the Black Sea region.”
Such incidents “show disrespect in the Russian Federation in international law,” emphasized the Bucharest.
Remember, on September 13, the Russian drone entered the Romanian territory at a distance of nearly 10 km, which remained in its airspace for about 50 minutes.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Oan-Silvia Tsou said it would raise the issue of Russian actions in the UN General Assembly, urging the international community for strict adherence to penalties.
