Russian propagandists have actively shared many conflicting versions to confuse the audience.
The sources of Kremlin Propaganda and unidentified channels on social networks actively disseminate incorrect information aimed at appointing responsibility for attacking drones in Poland territory on September 10 night in Ukraine. It was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation (CPD) on the Telegram Channel this Friday, September 12.
This publication note is part of a dedicated information campaign, the goal of which is to discredit Ukraine and hide Russia’s responsibility for the incident. The official Warsaw representative has confirmed that the attack was conducted by the Russian Federation.
Russian propagandists have actively shared many conflicting versions to confuse the audience. Some say the house affected by the drones fragments were said to have been damaged by a month of storms ago, though photos and reports from the area refused these statements. Other propagandists say Ukraine uses fixed Russian drones, as evidence, citing the presence of adhesive tape in fragments. To support such inventions, they attract controlled experts.
This campaign uses the classical “sleeping” tactics of the information space with conflicting versions to sow doubt and confusion and complicated the understanding of the truth, -emphasized by the CPD.
Remember that US president Donald Trump suggested that the invasion of Russian drones in Poland’s airspace on the night of September 10 could be caused by a mistake. Poland’s foreign minister of Poland Radoslav Sikorsky has rejected Trump’s assumption.
However, against the background of such statements by the President of the United States, the UN has accused the Russian Federation of violation of international law. The corresponding document received the support of 43 countries and called on Moscow to refrain from any further provocations.
