Meanwhile, the NATO Permanent Representative Matthew Vikuker said that the United States strongly support the allies in connection with violation of the airspace of Poland by Russian drones. And he promised to “protect every inch of the North Atlantic Alliance.”
We will recall that on the night of September 10, Russian drones flew deep into the territory of Poland up to 300 km. The Poles raised combat aircraft into the air, combat work was carried out on a drone. Subsequently, a fragment of one rocket and seven drones was found in Polish territory.
After the night invasion, NATO activated article 4 of the alliance agreement. And NATO Secretary General Mark Ruth said that the allies had already expressed solidarity with Poland and condemned the behavior of the Russians.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that they “do not plan” to attack objects in Polish territory.
