The EU is sending another tranche of financial aid to Ukraine

The money is part of a large aid package totaling nine billion euros, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said. He explained that the allocated funds will be spent on priority budget needs and overcoming the financial consequences of the war. The Central Bank of Ukraine has already received the first tranche in the amount of 500 million euros, the next one is expected on August 2.

German multiple launch rocket systems MARS-II arrived in Ukraine

Ukraine increases electricity supplies to the EU

Ukraine exports UAH 721 million worth of electricity to the European Union in a month, said Volodymyr Kudrytsky, head of the board of Ukrenergo. He recalled that last week the European network of electricity transmission system operators ENTSO-E was allowed to increase the volume of Ukrainian electricity exports to Europe by 2.5 times – up to 250 MW.

Increased Ukrainian agricultural exports

According to the results of July, the export of agricultural products from Ukraine increased by 12% and reached 3 million tons. Thus, grain exports increased by 21% and reached 1.7 million tons (corn – 69%, wheat – 22%, barley – 9%). Also, 597.2 thousand tons of oilseeds were exported during the month, which is 7% more than the previous month. At the same time, the same amount of vegetable oil was exported as in June – 297.1 thousand tons, of which 94% was sunflower and 6% soybean.
