Poland will close the border with Belarus through the Western military exercises of 2025, which will begin on Friday, September 12.

This was announced today, on September 9, before the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk was announced at the government meeting, reports Plock Radio.

Tusk emphasized that “aggressive military maneuvers” began on Friday “very close to the Polish border. ”

This has its consequences. On Thursday, at midnight, for the sake of state security, we will close all the crossings of borders from Belarus, including railways, ”he said.

According to him, these military exercises, organized by Moscow and Minsk, are currently imitations aimed at the critical safety zone of NATO – the so -called Suvoalsky Corridor – the territory around Suvak, August and hay, which simultaneously connects the territory of the Baltic countries with Poland and the rest of NATO.

Tusk said that Poland would respond to these maneuvers with its own exercises with the participation of allies.
