The former British prime minister said Ukraine’s future was a matter of identity and choice, not territories.
Ukraine should obtain the right to strike at Russian military bases, from which there are attacks on civilians. The statement was made by former British prime minister Boris Johnson during a speech at the Ukrainian Forum of Defense Innovation, held in London with the support of the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industry (Naudi).
“President Trump himself is emphasized: we must consent to the Ukrainians to use this weapon on the grounds used to kill their civilians, even though these basics are located in Russia,” he said.
The British ex -Prime Minister noted that Ukraine’s future is a matter of identity and choice, not territories.
“It’s not about territory. We talk about fortune. We talk about identity. Ukraine has chosen the path to the West, and we must confirm this choice in our existence in Ukraine, western security guarantees and it is clearly going to European and eventually in NATO institutions,” he emphasized.
In addition, Boris Johnson commented on conversations about stopping.
“In my opinion, the stop of a tenth of the courage shown by the Ukrainians, then we complete this war is the only possible way – with free, sovereignty and independent Ukraine,” said the British politician.
We note, earlier today it was reported that Boris Johnson urged the West to post nearly $ 300 billion of Russia’s owners and move them to Ukraine as reparations.
