Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in China, where he would participate in the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit (SCO). As part of the event, his negotiations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin planned, Anadolu reports.
It has been noted that on the edges of the summit, Turkey and Russia leaders will discuss issues of bilateral contact, as well as an international situation, especially the Russian war against Ukraine.
The summit will be held in the city of Tianjin from August 31 to September 1.
China welcomes the SCO Summit in the fifth hour, this year more than 20 leaders of participating countries and invited states are expected. Türkiye is involved in the summit as a dialogue partner.
Remember, a few days ago, President Vladimir Zelensky conducted negotiations with Erdogan, where they discussed security guarantees.
A week before, Erdogan and Putin discussed the war in Ukraine. The Kremlin said that at the same time they mentioned help from Turkey in negotiations between Russian and Ukraine representatives in Istanbul.
