At least five people died and eleven others were injured, three of them in serious condition, as a result of a fire in private hospital This Monday in Madhya Pradesh, in central India, a police source told Efe.
“At the moment, five people have died, three more are in serious condition and are being treated,” the head physician said. Police officer from the area where the event took place, Akhilesh Gaur, in the city of Jabalpur.
In addition to the three seriously injured, eight other people suffered minor injuries, Gaur added, adding that about fifteen people, including patients and workers, were in the small hospital when the fire broke out, the origin of which has not yet been determined.
