In the evening, Russian troops opened fire again in the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog districts of the Dnepropetrovsk region. This was announced on August 1 by the head of the regional military administration, Valentin Reznichenko.
“More than 60 parishes from Gradov for Manganets and the Krasnogrigorevsky community. The Russian army deliberately aimed at residential areas – at people who were sleeping at that time,” the governor stressed.
Two women were injured in the attack. One of them was hospitalized and is in critical condition.
“Eight private houses were destroyed in Marganets. Six children were sleeping peacefully in one of them. The youngest was only two years old. Everyone was rescued. The children were not hurt. Cafes and clothing production were hit of shelling. The power grid is disabled. . The city is partially without electricity,” Reznichenko specified.
In the settlement of Krasnogrigoryevsk, enemy shells damaged three dozen private houses and cars of local residents. Power line hit – several streets of Krasnogrigorevka without electricity.
In the Krivoy Rog region, the community of Zelenodolsk was hit by cannon artillery. No one was injured or killed.
