About 40 countries will fall under the new United States Tariff regime of America.
The White House has announced the new resources of tariff rates to be applied to imports from many countries. The changes will enter seven days, according to an official administration statement. On Friday, August 1, the CNN reported.
In a document published on Thursday night, July 31, President Donald Trump said that some countries have agreed or in the final stage of negotiations on significant trade and safety obligations in the United States. At the same time, there are states that either do not participate in negotiations or suggested conditions that do not meet the requirements for the overcome of trade imbalance.
Announced suited tariff rates are as follows:
– Syria: 41%
– Laos, Myanmar: 40%
– Switzerland: 39%
– Iraq, Serbia: 35%
– Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Libya, South Africa: 30%
In addition, the two main rates for the remaining countries have been identified:
– 10% tariffs will be applied to states with sales balance – that is, in which the United States exports more goods than imports.
– The rate of 15% is provided for trading -related countries related to the United States.
The new tariff regime covers the goods from nearly 40 countries. For many of them, these rates are lower than those who have operated since April this year, but for others they can increase.
In addition, more than a dozen countries will have tariffs of more than 15%, which are associated with completed trade agreements with the United States.
Remember that the European Parliament criticized the coordinated trade agreement with the United States.
