The German court punished four attacks who stole more than 480 Celtic coins from the Manking Museum in 2022.
The court in Ingolstadt has completed the case of one of the most incorrect robbery of cultural heritage in Germany history. Bild reported it.
Four accused of abducting Celtic’s greatest wealth – Maximilian Sh., Alexander K., Robert K. and Yornna M. – penalized 11, 8, 7 years and 4 years 9 months in prison, respectively.
In November 2022, criminals stole 483 gold coins from the museum in mankhing for more than 2000 years – worth more than 1.5 million euros. In the six -month trial, more than 120 witnesses and experts were heard, and about 20 other crimes, including hacking the shopping centers, were also charged by the defendants.
Despite the fact that part of the coins has not been found, criminals have refused to cooperate in the investigation and not announce their storage area – even in the promise of the sentence softening.
The process revealed serious shortcomings in the museum protection system and police communications. The attacks disabled the phone distribution box, and the alarm due to the lack of backup line did not deliver the alarm. The patrol responded only two hours later, and then the ATMs were reviewed, but not a museum.
Earlier it was reported that the Royal Court of Oxford had punished James Shin and Michael Jones. They were found guilty of stealing the art of America – the golden bathroom.
