The Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Noel Barro came to Ukraine today, July 21.
He will take part in the conference of the ambassadors of Ukraine, meet with President Vladimir Zelensky and discuss the further support of Ukraine with the government, reports Ukrinform.
Barro also emphasizes Barro for the leading role of France in ensuring nuclear security and in rehabilitation of Chernobyl -AESC after the capture of Russians in 2022.
Immediately after the arrival, he visited the places that suffered from today’s night attack in Kyiv, in the Lukyanivka area.
Barro emphasized that mass shelling occurred after Zelensky announced the readiness of new negotiations with Moscow.
The employees of our embassy, like all residents of Kyiv, were forced to go on shelter from 3 to 5 in the morning. Shelters that are no longer completely safe, since the metro station, which is near me and serves as a shelter for the inhabitants of Kyiv, was the goal of the attack. This happened at a time when on Saturday morning, President Zelensky declared the readiness of Ukraine to join new negotiations with Russia.
He added that it was a series of deadly attacks, from which houses, kindergartens and supermarkets were injured, dead and injured.
That is why a package of mass sanctions that we approved last Thursday is important to increase pressure on Vladimir Putin in order to increase the price of this incredible war, and in order to force him to stop the fire and enter into negotiations that will lead to a fair and long world, Barro said.
