Earlier, the North Korean leader issued an official statement on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the end of the Korean War (1950-1953). In it, he expressed his readiness to start a war with the use of strategic nuclear weapons in the event of an attempt to attack the DPRK.
North Korea has accused the US and South Korea of instigating a conflict that could lead to a “Second Korean War”.
