The State Bureau of Investigation has created a special investigation department that will investigate crimes committed by the Russian military in Ukraine.
“The SBI Department for pre-trial investigation of military offenses, offenses against the peace, the security of humanity, as well as international law and order, made as a result of the conduct of the Russian Federation , with the participation of representatives of other countries, an aggressive war against Ukraine, was created within the framework of personnel based on the Main Investigation Department of the SBI “, said the message.
The work of this special department has already been launched: investigators have begun to work in Irpin. Now they, along with the police, are collecting evidence of Russia’s war crimes in the Kiev region.
The special body will deal with the evidence base not only related to the Russian military, but also to representatives of the authorities, the leaders of the Russian military. The main task of the new body is to investigate the crimes of the Russians against humanity. These are cases of massacre of Ukrainians in all affected territories.
