Zelensky confirmed that he would change the ambassador of Ukraine to the United States. According to Zelensky, he is grateful for the work of Oksana Markarova and already discussed with her the possibility of further public service.
Zelensky said that he would like Marcarov to continue to work in Ukraine. But the final solution depends on this.
As for the new ambassador and the cabinet of ministers. I will say frankly: if I decide, and in the near future that will represent Ukraine in the United States, that is, the key ambassador, will become the Minister of Defense of Rastima Umarov, this will certainly affect serious rearrangements in the Ukrainian government, it is clear why, according to him.
Zelensky noted that the entire Ukrainian budget is now “this war”, and much depends on the Ministry of Defense.
