We recall that on January 9, Verkhovna Rada approved the bill on basic military training, which provides for a systematic introduction of the main military training for students – higher education students. On January 15, this bill was signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The main generalized training for universities will begin in September 2025 and will provide 300 academic hours. It will consist of theoretical and practical courses.
The theory should be transferred to all students, and a practical course is required only for men. During the exercises, students will receive basic knowledge about tactical, intellectual and psychological training, dome assistance, the basics of military discipline, as well as master the skills of weapons.
