The government allowed a remote examination of destroyed housing – it will help to receive compensation.
The new mechanism will provide access to compensation within the framework of the EAD program for people who have lost their homes in communities where the commission cannot leave the safety situation.
The commissions will be able to use all available tools, including satellite images, materials for shooting drones, photos and videos shot by a homeowner.
If necessary, you can submit additional confirmations: acts of SESA, police, eyewitness indications. In case of successful implementation, the mechanism is scale to other territories, including temporarily occupied.
In such territories, the fact of the destruction of housing can be confirmed by distant observation, photo and video.
Schmigal instructed the responsible ministries to launch this service as soon as possible.
