One of the largest producers of tea and coffee in Ukraine, Monomakh, simultaneously supplied his products for the Ukrainian army and continued to sell goods manufactured in Ukraine.
This is indicated in the investigation “Censor.net”, which refers to judicial materials and sources in law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
The publication recalls that Monomakh has been working on the Ukrainian market since the beginning of the 1990s and even has its own factory near Kyiv, where he has been packing tea and coffee. Among her brands, such as Monomax, Lovare, Stefano, Farrara, three elephants, tea masterpieces, coffee masterpieces and others.
According to the YouControl system, the owners of Monomakh -JSC were Bogdan Barabash (60.05%) and Taras (39.94%) as of the end of last year.
Since the beginning of 2022, despite the full large -scale war, the company’s incomes have increased significantly, since the market left the Russian brands. Currently, the share of the company in the Ukrainian market, according to estimates, exceeds 25%. Nevertheless, the owners of the Ukrainian manufacturer decided not to give up from income in Russia.
Thus, according to the place of the Ministry of the Interior of Ukraine, co -author Taras Barabash is wanted from June 16, 2025. He is looking for his SBU.
According to the materials published in the judicial register, the security service began the investigation already in August 2024 for the era of “Assistance to the State aggressor, completely as a result of a preliminary conspiracy by a group of persons”, and on June 10 conducted searches in the company and suspected the company and, accordingly, announced.
According to the court decision, Monomakh, at least since 2018, exported products produced in Ukraine to Russia and Belarus. In 2022, despite the ban on the Cabinet of Ministers and the NBU for any economic activity and payments with the Russian Federation and its residents, trade with the Russian Federation decided not to stop.
