The commanders of the units have been ordered all the way to promote the selection of candidates to serve Gyumri.
The commander of the Southern Military District troop of the Army of the Russian Federation issued the order to “understand” the Russian military base in the Armenian city of Gyumri and the selection of candidates for the service. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Monday, July 7.
The GUR has published a telegram of temporary acting head of Southern Military District of RF Armed Forces, Major General Sergei Zemskov. The document contains an order of the commander of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to build the grouping of Russian troops through an important understanding of the Russian military base in the city of Gyumri (Armenia).
In particular, the telegram indicates a list of steps for the urgent “understanding” of Russian units by selecting staff from the 8th, 18th, 49th and 58th joint troops of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the commanders of the units were ordered to promote the selection of candidates to serve Gyumri.
The GUR noted that through the adversity, Moscow clarifies the requirements for professional appropriateness, the level of psychological stability and training in the battle of personnel, which will be included in the future international contingent. Thus, Russians are forbidden to remove people from “participating in illegal circulation of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances.”
Reminding, earlier in Armenia they rejected the GUR statement that Russia accelerated the acquisition of a military base in Gyumri.
