The suspects rented a house, purchased equipment and materials for making fake money by dummy persons, used conspiracy methods, cash and bank details, after which it began to configure the equipment and printing of trial banknotes with the aim of additional -scale production.
During May-June 2025, they made and stored for marketing a fake foreign currency in the form of banknotes with a face of $ 100 worth 11 thousand US dollars and a face value of 500 UAH at 10 thousand UAH.
For the sale of false banknotes, other people were attracted to reflenished the bills of third parties through terminals and purchased goods, in particular equipment, using a fake currency.
The defendants plan to make more than 300 thousand US dollars, but they are confined.
During searches, law enforcement officials obtained fake banknotes, as well as equipment for their manufacture.
Currently, the court has selected a prevention of the proposal in the form of restraint in the form of a two suspects, another in the form of home arrest.
The disclosure was carried out by a skilled prosecutor in the field of central region’s defense field along with the Beb territory department at Kyiv with Ukraine’s NP DKR operation.
Keep in mind that law enforcement officials are confined to counterfeiters in Kyiv, which engage in fake hryvnia and foreign currency.
