During a Charity Fairy in Virginia, a homeless dog named Siena felt an epileptic attack from a stranger and saved her life.
In the United States, an homeless dog saved a man, expecting an epileptic attack from himself in the midst of fair, the Washington Post reports.
We talk about a three -old dog named Sienna -Metis Labrador and Pitbul, previously selected on the streets of the City of Altavist, Virginia. He is under the care of friends of the Campbell County Animal Control Organization.
On June 7, during the church fair, the shelter took an action on the construction of animals. Jackie Poppe’s volunteer pushed Sienna between the stands, when she suddenly quickly headed for an unfamiliar man – Josh Davis – and put on his foot.
At first glance – nothing special. But his wife, Kristen, immediately noticed the signs of concern: Josh began to stare and it seemed like he was losing consciousness. As it happened, he forgot to take medicines for epilepsy, and at that moment a myoclonic attack began.
Kristen was able to bring her husband home, and she managed the medications on time. The woman is sure: This is Siena, with no one coined, identified the threat even before the attack begins.
Science studies have confirmed: dogs may feel changes in the chemical composition of a person’s chemical or smells before epileptic attacks -even without special training.
Although Josh and Kristen can’t pick up the dog – they already have three pets from the shelter – Siena’s story has touched the volunteers. They talked about him on Facebook, and then received many applications for the device – especially from families where someone was sick of epilepsy.
As a result, Siena moved to Shannon Pork – a woman who drew attention to the dog even before she learned about her “superpower”. Siena reminds her of the late dog, and her 28-year-old son Rens is also suffering from epilepsy, though the attacks are not repeated over and over again.
“Siena is filling the holes in our hearts,” Shannon said after the dog became part of their family on June 13.
Earlier it was reported that Queen Camilla took a new favorite from the shelter after the death of her sleeping stakes.
