Ukraine expects the European Union to strengthen the penalty pressure in Russia. This was emphasized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sybig following a meeting with European diplomacy leader Kaya Callas, the statement on the social network KH.
“We have talked about the following steps in the EU to strengthen pressure penalties in Russia. We hope they are really strong and hit Putin’s military budget,” the foreign minister wrote.
According to him, he also talked to Callas about the need to promote Ukraine to enter the EU.
“I emphasized that Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements to open the first negotiation cluster, and a country is preventing this process is unacceptable -accept,” Sybiga said.
The government official expressed gratitude to the European Union for the support of Ukraine, especially in the field of defense.
The alien minister also thanked Callas for his leadership for this matter.
