Partners praised Ukraine for reporting and controlling the use of international military assistance.
In monitoring Ukraine’s use of international material and technical assistance, no violations have been recorded. This was announced by the Temporary Special Commission of Verkhovna Rada to monitor Alexander Ustinov’s assistance in the agency’s commentary Interfax-Ukraine On Thursday, June 19.
“The partners greatly appreciate Ukraine’s activities in reporting and monitoring the use of international military assistance. In addition, cooperation has agreed to accelerate the provision of critical resources to support Ukraine’s defense capabilities against Russia’s invasion, and the importance of further strengthening the Ukrainian-American cooperation,” said Ustinova.
The commission’s delegation will be held by more than 40 Washington meetings along with US Congress representatives from both parties, White House officials, Pentagon and General Inspector of the US Ministry of Defense Robert Storch.
Ustinova emphasized that American partners and other allies have recorded any cases of abuse or incorrect use of assistance.
He emphasized that the issue of liability remains the key to cooperating with international donors, as stated in the official Commission report submitted to Verkhovna Rada.
The document also noted that in 2024–2025, military aid for Ukraine grew significantly. According to Ustinova, this has been possible thanks to Ukraine’s active participation in safe formats, such as platform RamsteinAn increase in the number of bilateral safety agreements with G7 countries, as well as expanding training programs for military, pilots and technical personnel.
Keep in mind that the United States has only moved half of the promised military aid to Ukraine, despite Joe Biden’s team’s statements about increasing assistance.
