The identification of the bodies of the dead defenders received by Ukraine can last more than a year
The complete identification of about 6,000 bodies of the dead defenders who were transferred to the Russian side can last at least 13-14 months. In total, the country of the aggressor translated 6 thousand 60 bodies. Igor Klimenko said this on June 18, June 18.
I can only bring the situation closer, because the analysis is still ongoing – in what staff the remains remain and how much they contain in the packages that the Russian side handed over to us. But, according to the most modest preliminary estimates of our specialists, the identification of these about 6 thousand bodies will take at least 13-14 months, ”said the head of the Ministry of the Interior.
According to Klaikichenko, this is the minimum term for determining all organs received by Ukraine.
Currently, according to the minister, forensic medical examinations, expert divisions and investigators in three shifts in order to carry out this work as soon as possible.
We recall that on June 16 the repatriation part of the Istanbul agreement was completed – on that day another 1 thousand 245 bodies of the dead were returned to Ukraine.
