Verkhovna Rada has approved a bill that provides a lot of citizenship in Ukraine. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Wednesday, June 18.
“Parliament has been adopted as a whole of the introduction of the Institute of Multiple Citizenship in Ukraine No. 11469. For -243. All editing are considered as in the Committee’s editorial office,” he wrote.
Also, 19 human representatives voted “against”, another representative of the people avoided, and 34 did not vote.
As you know, in August 2024, President Vladimir Zelensky submitted a bill to many citizenship at Verkhovna Rada. And on December 17, Parliament approved this document in the first reading.
Zelensky later called the goals of the law in many citizenship. In his opinion, this law will allow citizens to receive passports by other countries to reunite with Ukrainian society.
