In the upcoming power, the Donald Trump administration has led to “rebooting relationships” in Russia.

The American Embassy in Russia said the head of diplomatic mission Lynn Tracy, was about to leave his post. On Thursday, June 12, the embassy said.

The US Embassy in Russia did not specify whether Tracy would exactly leave the post, but announced her farewell appeal on Friday night, June 13.

Lynn Tracy began working in Russia in January 2023. Her purity fell during a full -scale aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and a sharp breakdown in relationships between Moscow and Washington.

As an ambassador, Tracy is actively involved in the release of U.S. citizens who are confined to Russia, including journalist The Wall Street Journal Evan Gershkovich and former marine infantryman Paul Vilan.

His predecessor, John Sullivan, served from February 2020 to September 2022.

Kremlin -related hackers tried to scrape the e -mail of former US ambassador to Ukraine Stephen Paifer.
